The Plank Board is Kokariki at its simplest—a beautiful, substantial piece of solid American hardwood, shaped by hand and made for everyday life. Clean lines and generous proportions let the natural grain and character of the wood do all the talking.
Made for serving, gathering, prep, or simply left out on the counter, it’s the kind of board that earns its place in the kitchen and only gets better with use.
Finish
Oiled
Finished by hand with our food-safe oil, deepening the natural color and grain of the wood while adding protection for everyday use.
Raw
For those who want the wood in its purest form—completely unfinished and untouched. Raw wood absorbs moisture, oils, and foods more readily and can stain, spot, or develop water marks. Wipe spills promptly, never soak it, and allow it to dry completely after cleaning. With thoughtful care, raw wood can age beautifully, developing a patina entirely its own.
Natural Variation: Every Plank Board is unique. Grain, color, knots, mineral streaks, and other natural characteristics will vary from board to board. We consider these differences part of what makes solid wood beautiful.
Made by hand. Made to use. Built to last.
Handmade variation note: Product photos represent the style, wood, finish, and proportions of this board. Because every Kokariki board is handmade from natural hardwood, grain pattern, color, figure, and small dimensional details may vary slightly from piece to piece.
