A Book of Boards is a collection made for the kitchen, the table, and everything in between. Handcrafted from solid American black walnut, each board nests together into one beautiful, substantial set—different sizes for different moments, all made from the same rich, timeless hardwood.

Pull one out for morning fruit, another for supper prep, or the largest when the table fills up. When the work is done, stack them back together and leave them out. Like a favorite old cookbook, they belong in the kitchen.

Finish

Each board is finished by hand with our food-safe oil, drawing out the deep chocolate tones, warmth, and beautiful grain of the black walnut while conditioning and protecting the wood for everyday use. With simple care and occasional re-oiling, these boards are made to grow more beautiful with time.

Natural Variation: Every set is unique. Black walnut naturally varies from deep chocolate brown to warmer and lighter tones, with occasional sapwood, knots, and changes in grain. We embrace those differences—they’re part of what makes real wood worth keeping.
